Little Miss Pudgy Paws and the Wee Beastie

How much trouble can two Corgis and a Border Collie get into?

Gwynnie, the wee beastie, gets bigger by the day. In nine weeks she has gone from 11 to 18 pounds! One thing has not changed though, she still likes to hang out in the basket of my walker. I wonder how much longer she will fit?

Very behind on posting

Haven’t posted in a while because Gwynnie has kept everyone incredibly busy.  The moment anyone looks away, she manages to quickly get herself into trouble.  The result is that we have been on high alert for the last two months with little time to spare.  Will try to post more now and catch up on the backlog of funny puppy pictures.

In order to get time to post I am doing things like letting Gywnnie walk herself!  Its an improvement over her previous attitude of “why should I walk when I fit perfectly in your walker basket?”  Though the leash does come back a little the worse for wear….

The Elusive Sleeping Puppy

While Gwynnie has been a great addition to the family, one minor setback has been her aversion to sleeping.  What we have here is a rare photo of an almost or mostly sleeping puppy.  If you look closely, you’ll notice the eyes are peeking open just to make sure that she isn’t missing out on anything fun.

Gwynnie, The Wee Beastie!

Gwynnie now has an official appellation. Henceforth she shal be “Gwynnie, the wee beastie”. No one who sees her will have any difficulty understanding the reason.
I have so many photos and stories to tell. For those of you who have been kind enought to follow Little Miss Pudgy Paws and now my wee beastie, I would like to apologize for disappearing for more than a week. Gwynnie has me running circles about myself.
These pictures were taken on Thursday. The next day BOTH ears popped up. So this is the last floppy pictures.
Puppy training is going well. She walks well on the leash….when she wants to. Currently, she prefers to ride in the basket of my walker. I have been told that it is cute. :). It is also a bit easier for me right now so I am not worried about it.

Gwynnie is here!

Day 1. So happy that she arrived. No signs of trauma from the flight. She popped out of the little shipping kennel, shook her big, duck taped ears, and gave me kisses!

Day 2. Gwynnie is a busy girl. Wiggly little thing, but a trooper at the vet. Plays with the adult dogs and shows no fear durring some fairly rough FRAPPING. She gives back every bitey face play that they give her. (LMPP & Molly occasionally have a shell shocked look on their faces that seems to say, “What in the world is going on? Where did this little monster come from? She is not going to stay, is she? And finally, DOES IT EVER SLEEP?)

Day 3. We all want to kill her, (figuratively)! She never sleeps, bites ankles and toes, and is never in a hurry to pee while you are waiting for her in the hot sun. Tension level in the house hold is at a critical level.

Day 4. I have hired a puppy sitter to help me with her when my daughter is at work! Help! :)

Just a little teaser here. Gwynnie is in the air right now! She will land at the San Diego Airport today at 1:15. She has had a direct flight from Minnesota and you can be sure that TSA agents will be necessary to keep me from running out on the tarmac to get her. We will be leaving for the airport it just a bit because I want to be at least two hours early, just in case the plane had a tail wind. :). You can expect pictures. LMPP will love her new sisfur!
